Configuring Signals

This section provides information about how to configure signals in the developer console and then raise them as notifications in your Bigin account.

To configure signals, you need to do the following:

1. Define Signal
2. Raise Signal

Defining a Signal

To define a signal, follow these steps:

1. Open Bigin Developer Console.
2. Go to Automate > Signals.

   The All Signals page appears.

3. To create a new signal, click Define Signal.
4. On the Create Signal page, do the following:
   • For Signal Name, type the name of the signal.

     Based on the name of the signal, the Namespace field is automatically generated.

   • For Icon, upload an icon for your signal.
5. Click Save.

The new signal is defined.

Raising the Signal

You can raise the signal in the following ways:

• Based on parameters defined in a function of the Topping
• Based on notifications generated by third party applications
