Test Your Topping

Before you submit your topping to the marketplace team, you must ensure the topping is properly tested and works as expected.

The Bigin Developer Console allows you to test your topping in a sandbox environment. The sandbox environment creates a virtual end-user simulation of your Bigin account and enables you to validate all the customization components, connections, widgets, and automation rules that are incorporated to the topping. The changes you make in the virtual sandbox environment while testing your topping will not alter your existing account.

To test your topping using a sandbox environment, follow these steps:

1. Open Bigin Developer Console.
2. On the top-right corner of your console, click the Test your Topping button.

   

   In the new window, a developer sandbox simulation of your Bigin account appears.

   

3. Run and validate the working of your topping on the sandbox environment.
4. If you find any issues while working with your topping on the sandbox environment, you can resolve them instantly and make it work as expected.
