Bigin's 2024: A Year In Retrospect

As we wrap up 2024, all we can think about are all the amazing new ways we can elevate Bigin in 2025. 

We're constantly striving to bring you a CRM that's capable of being the perfect partner for your business. 2024 has been no exception! Before we head into this new year, let's take a quick trip down memory lane and revisit how Bigin has evolved over the past year. 

Bigin 360: A new "edition" to the Bigin family

Our latest pricing plan, Bigin 360, was conceptualized as an all-in-one platform for small businesses and startups to manage all of their customer operations, whether it's marketing, sales, customer support, or onboarding.

Nominally priced at $18 per user per month (billed annually), it includes a whopping storage limit of 1,000,000 records, the Email-In and File Cabinet add-ons pre-installed, and enhanced customization, automation, data segmentation, and more. 

Everything new in automation 

Automate stage-specific, time-sensitive actions from a specific pipeline with Stage Automation.

Strategically assign leads, support tickets, new orders, and other records to the right people in your team to ensure that each record gets the attention it needs using the “Assign Owner” action in Workflows. 

Use Formula Fields to automate conditional and mathematical calculations for deriving important contextual information like deal commission and payment due dates.

Streamline the most rewarding part of your sales journey

Integrate Bigin with popular payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, Paytm, and Razorpay to generate and share unique payment links. Track the status of all generated links and monitor integral metrics to get a better understanding of the entire payment collection process. 

Making every conversation count 

Brought all your WhatsApp chats to Bigin? Well, you can now initiate fruitful conversations with them! From sending welcome messages and payment reminders to sharing order status updates, you can proactively engage with your customers and prospects using highly customizable and personalized WhatsApp templates. 

We’ve even simplified email communication! Set default preferences for font size, font family, "from" address, and "reply-to" address for all email composers and craft the perfect emails with ease. Use the Bigin eWidget for Zoho Mail to access data related to your contacts and leads while drafting emails for them in Zoho Mail. You can even edit existing records or add new ones in Bigin—all without leaving Zoho Mail.  

We’ve also enhanced the “Create Call" form to help you track the status and outcome of outgoing calls, specify the purpose of a scheduled call, attach links to external call recordings, and log other important information related to your calls. Additionally, you can create custom fields to store information per your unique needs.

Convert leads like a pro 

Capture leads generated via ads on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok using Bigin's LeadChain integration and nurture them successfully. 

Increase the ROI of your marketing activities by integrating Bigin with Zoho Marketing Automation. Push all generated leads to Bigin and watch them convert into customers.  

Empower lead (and customer!) engagement by integrating Bigin with Zoho SalesIQ. Engage in chats across multiple platforms with all the context you need, track all your chats, and more. 

Data management, done right

Let’s talk about forms! Our forms are now more customizable than ever. Brand your forms with your company logo, include background images, divide them into sections, format your buttons, and create custom links to personalize your forms fully. Tired of duplicate form entries? Decide what happens to them while you're creating forms; send them for manual approval, automatically merge them with existing records, or allow duplicates to be created. Furthermore, you can review, accept, reject, and merge records created through Bigin's Forms, Zoho Forms, third-party applications, or APIs. 

View your data in the format you prefer using these enhancements to the List View. You can now resize, reorder, sort, filter, autofill, add, and delete columns, as well as create, rename, and bulk-update fields. 

Decide the levels of access every user has to the data present in a particular Team Pipeline and define the actions they can perform with Team Pipeline permissions.  

Customize Bigin's Calendar View by choosing which day your work week starts on, marking work days and hours, highlighting non-work days, hiding old events, and customizing event alerts. 

Streamline order management by linking your Shopify store with Bigin and process orders using a dedicated Shopify eCommerce pipeline while managing all your customers, leads, and products. 

Bigin also integrates with Zoho Projects which means that you can effortlessly manage existing and upcoming projects with clients. 

Share and track documents, set up document approval workflows, and streamline the entire document signing and collection process with Zoho Sign for Bigin.

Distribute surveys to collect and store important feedback, testimonies, and other insights from your customers with Qualtrics for Bigin.

As far as data export is concerned, you can now export Associated Products, module-specific notes, and up to 200,000 records at once! Additionally, you can decide which fields need to be exported. 

Our mobile apps have also leveled up

Never miss out or be clueless on a business call ever again. Click the Caller ID banner that pops up during an incoming or outgoing call to access the wealth of information stored in Bigin Android or iOS apps.

With Dynamic Display in our Android and iOS apps, you can customize records in list views to access the information you need in the order and format you want.

Also, some of Bigin's most popular features—Calendar View, WhatsApp messaging, and Filters—have made their mobile debut this year. 

2024 was also our third year of collaboration with Samsung! You can now do more with your S-Pen, easily complete tasks using Air View and Air Actions, leverage Galaxy AI, and perform a variety of functions from your favorite Samsung devices. 

We've also introduced improvements to personalization, new Control Widgets, a built-in email translator, and more for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
